Wow, this question is well thought out and well typed. [sarcasm]
Hey did you hear there is a new feature called SPELL-CHECK. Use It. Don't you think this question is better suited for the religion and spirituality Section

And I am sure the Indians just stood there and let the Christians kill them. They never attacked any of the Christians. They never drew a line in the dirt and thought this far no further. I will admit that Christians killed. You should admit that Native Americans killed as well. Why? Christians originally thought they could convert the Natives to Christians. That did not happen as quickly as they had hoped. Also, the Native Americans wanted to keep their religions. So tensions grew over concepts such as property and stealing and Christians view stealing as a sin. It was just a matter of time before tensions lead to killing and killing lead to war. It is called genocide now but it was war back then. I think the difference is the tendency for today's generation to view all tribes as though they were one people. They were not. Each tribe was like a separate country with a separate warlord and a separate religion. Before they knew it they were at war with all of these tribes. The question was what to do when the wars were over. They tried many things. All eventually failed. Before you knew it most of the tribes were desimated beyond belief. Was this the Christian thing to do? No. Was this unheard of? No. The Popes in Rome, France and Constantinopal had all been warring rulers. There were the Crusades eo consider. There was also at the very root of Christianity the Old testimant in which God told the tribes of Abraham that they would have to fight to secure their promised land. Christians were just doing as they thought they should to spread the word of God. Right or wrong, that is what they in fact did. If you are looking for an apology, you are not going to get one. Those Christians are dead. If you are looking for an understanding, you now have one. If you are looking for some wisdom, this is it: God exists for most, but; most don't agree on who God is, and that is why people fight over who is right, because; God exists.

I am not religious, but I think the teachings of Christ were pretty important. He was a great human philosopher, much like the Buddha.
It isn't his teachings that are the problem. It's that the Church that followed that became beholding to kings and merchants. The rulers throughout history have found that fear of the Lord is a powerful tool in controlling the people.
And so in time Jesus became a tool used to work people up into a frenzy of war.
This seems to continue to the present time.
It's sad that such fine teachings could be so subverted.

First of all try spell check next time. I could hardly understand your question. Second, religion is one of the oldest ideas in the world. There are other people who have, like us, divided and conquered many times in the name of their gods. Why do you single out Christians and not focus more on the big picture.

People who do these kind of atrocities are not people of God or Allah or who ever. They are evil and godless and just looking for a way to justify their bad behaviour. It is sad because religion has such a potential to be beautiful but ugly people make it just as ugly.

Funny how you don't include all the muslim tribes, groups and subgroups (including those led by Muhammad) who have been roaming around the middle east for centuries, doing the same thing, gloriously killing in the name of Allah. Amazing how religious bigotry is so blind.

You make a generalized, unproven statement, then ask us to comment on the end result of that line of reasoning. Do not expect a decent answer, you're only looking for someone to agree with your relatively simple viewpoint.

i develop into actually raised as a catholic. i have spoken of this right now in different questions. My instructor on the time had me pegged as an merely baby, and she confronted my mom about it one time... it wasn't notably, and my mom hated her after that. I did have questions about God, that i ought to unavoidably ask my grandmother, yet i wanted to ask the priest on the time, through the undeniable fact that they had us memorizing the Our Father and each and every thing... i concept the least they could do develop into fulfill my curious ideas. Catholics have a situation with this, different sorts of christianity do no longer. countless different christians inspire the more youthful minds of their community, yet catholics do no longer. it is all a pastime, it really is all existence appears to be like for them; leisure until eventually they die. They communicate a huge pastime about guidelines and idealism, yet what have they done somewhat? My relations is catholic, and the position were they at the same time as i develop into being abused as a baby? They were bailing my father out of detention center. And at the same time as someone needs to break up because their husband is abusive? Excommunication. i have considered it, i have lived it. countless those fools ought to were strangled at start to maintain away from this from ever occurring. those are an identical fools that say i'm abnormal. those are an identical fools that say relations violence would not exist because they trust besides the reality that the hell they choose to trust and eff easily everyone else, destruction of all that lays of their route... ....properly, i'm merely taking area in with suggestions from their guidelines. they're rude, yet i'm massive. they could take our jobs, take our money, and take what little bit of sanity lets have left, yet they're going to under no circumstances take my honor. i will face adversarial to them regardless of fee, regardless of outcome... even if i'm on my own. call it cliche... call it besides the reality that helps you sleep better at evening, it would not remember to me. we are no longer susceptible... they could damage us yet that does no longer make us susceptible. we are more advantageous then they're going to ever imagine. i will perpetually be a heretic with delight.

Christianity is an attempt, rather than an achievement. That's all anyone can really say. Just think how much worse it would be if they didn't even try.
