Mammals have hearts. They beat like ours do.
If you are talking about hearts, like souls, I think God gave some animals the ability to love and be loved. My dogs have all been very loving and soulful creatures.

Yes, and I believe they also have souls that live on after they die. I do believe in some kind of afterlife after our physical body dies. I have read many stories of pets visiting their owners after the pet has died. And they also have emotions. Love, anger, sorrow, happiness...everything that we people experience. Here is a story that a friend wrote about a pet that visited him after the dog died. It's a true story that will make you wonder.
