It's just a silly answer.
I don't smoke, and I prefer the taste of Sweet Valley Diet Cola (available in Aldi stores) to either Diet Pepsi or Diet Coke.

I don't think that it's literal...... perhaps smoke in this context refers to smokin as in HOT...so Coke would be better than Pepsi
