Probably. But remember how guilt was spread by Ben Gurion and others, blaming the west for not doing anything while the nazi and stalin did everything they could to eliminate all of the european jews. And since "the bible" says that the promised land is Palestine, and Palestine was a british colony, let's settle them there... Oops. They forgot palestinian arabs who have been living there for almost 2000 years. If you fight for democracy, wouldn't you fight for your land and the land of your fathers?

Why?

Christ was a Jew and was from that area. They divided lands up by tribes, not by culture and even some 2000 years ago the Romans ruled it!

I don't understand why people think the Jews don't belong where the are. That is who inhabited the area for thousands of years!

Israel can't be any place else. See the Israel people have a very old moldy book that says that is where they must live, and they follow everything this book says, so.....

Was it a mistake, sure.....but not much can be done about it. (Untill the nuke it off the map)

Do you think it was a mistake for the Iroquois Nation to fight with England against the Continental Army

Hope you have a time machine. It would be hard to change anything that we don't like after the fact.

It should have been in a place where the existing country was willing to give up the land. Israel is situated on stolen ground.

I think you have no understanding of what you are even implying. It is an assumption you make that there would now not be problems in the middle east.
