Now that Miami Vice has been made into a film, what other 80's classics are crying out for the same treatment? Me, I'd go for an A-Team remake, although I'm not sure who would replace Mr T as BA

Wow that's a good question. But I think a lot of the TV shows from the '80's wouldn't fit onto a movie screen. A movie is a big step and sometimes it doesn't always flow right.
Perhaps the movie industry should stop trying to take TV shows and making movies from them or remaking classic films, it gets old fast.
But for a "twist" (ha M. Night Shamalamading-dong) why doesn't Hollywood take a flopped TV show from any era and turn it into a movie? That would be cool. (though this should be taken with caution as "Serenity" based off "Firefly" didn't do well at the box office)

I`m afraid the remakes of the 80`s tv serieses are, putting it bluntly, Crap
Y do they even bother, have they not got a brain of their own.

There are plenty of Films they could make if they put their minds to it.

Leave our Classics alone

I am so with you on The A team. The film could start with them trying to bust Murdock out of a loony bin. Sadly, who is going to play Hannibal? Dear old George Peppard is no longer with us...passed away in the 90's.

How about "21 Jumpstreet"? Not sure if its from the '80s though. And oh! I would like to see "Voltes V" in a CGI movie.
