It's hard to be around people with bad moods and not be affected by it. What I do is tell myself, "just let grouches be grouches. It's alright." And try not to get sucked into their negativity. I also play the clown sometimes and try to come up with silly things to show them how they're being.

My question is, why would you want to get rid of such a tremendous gift. It seems you are looking at this all wrong. The ability to adapt to other's moods shows a great sense of compassion and empathy. You probably let others' good moods affect your mood too. Its contagious. You are an emotional person, a people person. The trick is not to stop it but to use it as a way of connecting with someone else on a deep and emotional level. However, if you are continually affected negatively by a particular person or people. Occasionally, it is better to avoid toxic relationships, for your own sake of self-preservation.

to commence, do not submit this on the information superhighway. Your mood is affecting thousands of strangers in the present day. The trick is to positioned on a grin and flow on. you need to be careful with that even if, too a lot of which will properly be risky. make optimistic you've a minimum of one individual to search for suggestion from with about your issues.

Other people's moods can affect your own mood, just start a conversation or something on a positive note and you might change their mood for a change.

I deal with my mood and attitude first. then I can better deal with others. Change comes from within. One accepts or denies how another thought or ideal will affect them.
Most importantly one decides if another they will allow anther's attitude affect them.
You are going to come across some real buttheads in life, choose weather you want to become one of them or attempt to let a positive attitude and a good perspective affect them.

One way is to try to help them and then feel good about what you've done. That is the way counselors work. They see everybody that has a problem as a challenge. The worse their patient's case is the more happy they feel when they give a solution.
But I still think avoiding is better.

make a conscious decision to not allow them to affect you. I know it sounds crazy- but I promise it works.
If you like to read you should read "Excuse Me, Your Life is Waiting"
and "Eat, Pray, Love"
They are both fabulous books and I promise they'll help you with that.

Keep in mind that your attitude is not determined by those around you. It is a choice. Don't let them chose for you.
