Plan is better if you want constant service. With prepaid, you set your spending limit... once you're out of minutes, the phone shuts off. with a contact, when you're out of minutes, they just charge you for more.. but you can usually call customer service if you went way over and bump up your plan and they'll credit you the difference. You also get better phone options with contracts. I would go with Cingular or Verizon. Unless you live on an Indian Reservation, then Cricket or Alltel.

depends on how much you'll use the phone. if it's just every once in awhile then prepaid is the best option, but if you're going to be using it daily, prepaid charges way too much per minute for that. you'd be better off with a plan. thing is though you most likely will have to sign up for 2 year plan as many companies won;t take 1 year plans. those that do will charge you a lot more for the phone. 2yr plans usually have great prices on phones.

A plan...I had a prepaid phone once and spent like $20.00 a week on minute cards, which is like $80 a month. You could get an awesome plan for the amount you'll end up spending on prepaid services.

it all depends I like the the monthly bill plan because i talk hell of a lot and if i had a prepaid phone it would end up costing me more money to keep buying minutes than get one monthly bill. But if you're not much of a talker then you should get a prepaid phone because the minutes rollover from month to month and you won't have to get another prepaid card until those minutes expire.

A plan is the bset in my opinion. I have Cingular Wireless and it's great. I have a website that I have used and found very good deals on cell phones with free shipping. Check it out

i think a plan is better but cingular is bad they get rid of old plans and u dont get all the same miuets go with verizon its the best

prepaid you can add minutes when you want and quit anytime but don't get a pre-paid virign mobile go with trac-phone they even have a 20 dollar phone... it is the same as plan just pay when you want and no contracts!

It really depends on what you are looking for. If you do not want to get bills go pre-paid and remember the limit you have and keep a card on hand.
