I do not and never have liked jeff gordon. And yes he is a good driver, there is no doubt about it, and if Dale Sr. were still alive and racing the whole thing about being tied with one more win would not even be an issue.

I am not a fan of Jeff's never have been, but no one could say he's not good cause he has proven he is. And the deal with having more wins than Earnhardt, Earnhardt in my opinion would still be the best cause he grew up racing in a different time. Without all these huge sponsorships they have today. He had to work hard, and guys coming in now days wouldn't make it if they had to do it like he did, and I'm not even a Earnhardt fan, couldn't stand him, but facts are facts!

and, if anyone thinks he's not..they kind of have to look at the record and eat it.. cuz well, yeah, as you mentioned one more win and he'll be tied with dale earnhardt sr for the 6th most race wins of 76.
he is also ranked as 3rd with the most amount of championships (4).. only behind dale sr and richard petty.
will he be better than dale sr and richard petty.. no, i realy don't think so, but i think he'll be up there and go down as one of the greatest!!
so how one can say he's not a good driver is beyond me. that doesn't mean you have to like him, but you have to give him his props.. it's not like that stuff has been handed to him.
i've been a fan of jeff gordon for a long time.. and have no intention of stopping..

I've been a Jeff Gordon fan for years. I never understood why people didn't like him to begin with. He's a great driver, has a great head on his shoulders, and has helped build a great team.

I love #24 Jeff Gordon...he's hot and he can drive! The others are just jealous cause he has the total package and make up rumors that he is gay! His fiance is gorgeous! See...he does have it all!!

I don't follow NASCAR so much, but I do know that he is quite famous which indicates that he is very good; my sisters really like Jeff Gordon and NASCAR because when we would vacation in America, we would sometimes see it on television. They swoon over Jeff Gordon! But for me, I don't like NASCAR as much as soccer, and I don't think that way of other men either!

I think he's a great driver and he has the wins and championships to prove it. I've been a fan for years.
Even if you don't like him you can't argue with his stats and that says he is a great driver.
