I've seen gasoline chilled to -50 degs F and it is still a liquid!!

In any case, gasoline only burns in the vapor state as is the case with most hydrocarbons.

Oh, please don't try!

Here is what would happen:

The "ice" cube would heat unevenly. This would cause the gas to expand at different rates. The "ice" cube would explode sending shards of frozen gasoline into the audience. These would be like tiny sharp needles piercing the audience and causing MASSIVE blood loss. But that wouldn't bother you too long when the gasoline finally combusts. This would cause all of those tiny needles to become flammable and more explosive. KABOOM!

In other words, the audience would disintegrate.

Now, I am comforted that there is no affordable machine available to the public that can freeze gasoline.

i think it would melt and cause the fire to grow bigger..

it will burn even in solid form, then gradually melt and burn more...
