I heard that there are certain food which we should avoid after a surgical incision. What are the food to avoid?
What then are the food that are 'safe' to take? Also, it will be helpful if I know what kind of food aid healing of wound but does not leave scar. Thanks

soft foods avoid spicey food for you. the nurses will tell you and give you a paper on it. of what to eat and what not to eat. how to care for the wound and what to do for it.

I ate subway right after my surgery. Anyways, fatty foods are really bad. Things from fast foods is a definite don't.
For the scars, take Vitiman E daily, and also break the capsules open and spread the oil on your scar as often as possible while it is healing.
After it's completely healed use those scar patches you can get at Wal*Mart.
