This is the question;
See the fault in the circuit shown below. What fault will most likely set because of this fault?

A. P0072 Ambient Air
Temperatures Sensor Low.

B. P0073 Ambient Air
Temperatures Sensor High.

C. Either of the above may set, depending on ambient temperature.

D. Neither of the above.

****The diagram is of an 'ambient air temp sensor'. On the power wire side, a ground comes off and there is a problem with that ground. What would the answer be? need help asap

It's a test question. The make/model of a car is not relevent to the part it's asking about.

All ambient air temp sensors work the same. The quesion's asking what code is it giving out of those two choices..

If there is a problem with the ground on the sensor, then it would not work. so the answer is "D"

The sensor is both reading high and low. The best guess would be to replace the "ait", ambeint intake temp. sensor. If in doubt the sensor is in the snorkel that goes through to the throtle body. It is easy to replace, and I believe it is not too costly. Good Luck!

First: of all ,whats year ,make ,model, engine size ?
Second: if you've got those codes ,replace the sensor.
