Cold water would work. However, to make sure you don't ruin the fabric, I'd take it to a good cleaner (the one which does the cleaning on site) and tell them it's blood. It should come out.

Who did you kill??
Do NOT use peroxide...it'll bleach it!!!!
Take it to the dry cleaner yourself. There are a few good ways to remove blood from machine washable clothing, but I wouldn't try them on the tux. You don't want to have to buy it!

Well if you get it dry cleaned they might ruin it. Then you would for sure have to pay for it fully. I am not sure if you have to pay for it if it gets dirty. You might have some sort of insurance thing going.

ummm if it comes down to getting busted or not getting busted just burn it and repay the owner of it! That way they can't get the DNA out of it and link you to the murder of your wife on your honey moon! silly have not done this before??

You mean Q didn't give you the blood solvent? Geez, he's really slipping with his secret-agent gadgets lately.

cold water gets out most of it, but you have to use a detergent or something for the deeper stains. try oxyclean.

In a area that's not noticable, you might try hydrogen peroxide.
