I'm planning a weekend trip to B.C. and I'd really like to find a good Indian restaurant to celebrate my anniversary.

Any restaurant at the Punjabi market (49th and Fraser area) will be good but there is a vegetarian buffet right on the corner (south west of 49th and Fraser st.) that is very good and cheap too. In Surrey (30 mins away ) where there is a huge east indian population there is a restaurant called 'mahek'
it's on Scott road (aka 120th st) and about 95ave. I have eaten at both and they are both good.

I've never tried this restaurant myself (I'm not very keen on Indian cuisine), but I visited their web site and it looks like a nice place to eat. Enjoy your stay here in BC

IN downtown ( if there is a downtown)or the main part there should be good ones.
