when people talk about how far mankind has got, it only with the technology. as time goes by, technology goes up, but we as a people go down, it just shows how much mankind has focused more on material objects than their own morals and principles. so yes this is very true, and it's only going to get worse as time goes on, because if history has done anything consistently since the beginning of time, is repeat itself.

The first half of the statement is definitely true, but the second is in a grey area. Morals are different for everybody. For example, I see nothing wrong with porn, but some people find it ab horrid. Some people are pro life and some pro choice. Morality is relative.
