i've been renting the episodes with netfl ix but they don't come very fast and the disc i have now finishes with tamahome being controlled and miaka realizing that he will never come back to her. but tamahome starts crying so i think there might be hope. but the review on the disc jacket says 'Miaka is married to taka and expecting a child' so i'm really confused!!!!!! someone pleeeaaassseee tell me what happens next!!!!!!! I"M DYING HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

don't worry, everything will be fine, I felt the same way you did. Anyway, in the next episode (To protect you), Hotohori swears that he'll love Miaka in Tamahome's place and Miaka, for a moment, agrees. But then, Tamahome shows up, he leaves Kutou and comes to Konnan to kill Miaka and Hotohori, as Nakago orders. Hotohori and Tama has a fight and Tama ends up being severly wounded. When all hopes seems to have lost, Miaka runs to Tama and kisses him, which breaks the curse and regains Tama's memories. Then Tama promises to never leave Miaka again (the next episode: I'll never leave you).
About Miaka having a child, that's the OVA, it's not part of the original Fushigi Yuugi, it's just the after story, so don't worry about that just yet.
You can also go to youtube if you can't wait. I saw lots of Fushigi on that site

If Tamahome is controlled, do you mean by Nakago and the Deidu poisoning Yui gave him? If so, you're not quite 1/2 way through the series.
If Miaka and Taka are already married and she's preggers, you need to see Eikodun next *the 3rd OVA*. Email me and I can give me more details
