Majin Buu. Very good question and some very good answers. It is true that Majin Buu (no matter which form), could defeat Galactus. However, what I did not like about the answer above was the fact that he made Galactus sound so weak and helpless. You have to remember that Galactus is the second most powerful being in the Marvel universe, so therefore I would give him some more credit. It's true that Galactus is the eater of worlds, he gains his energy and powers by sucking off the life out of plants and he's also giant, which makes him pretty hard to beat, kinda imposible if you ask me...
With that said, I still have to go with Buu. Remember that any damage Galactus does on Buu, he would just regenerate completly, even his powers too, just like nothing happen. Now you might ask how would Buu defeat Galactus. Well you have to remember who Buu is, he is the final villan in the Dragonball Z saga, he is the one the blew up Earth cus he was bored that he did not have a rival that would come close to his powers, so then he teleported himself to the Other World, Heaven to be more precise, hoping he would find a better match there and killing everyone else. Now I don't see Galactus doing that, he just has a ridiculous amount of power, but again so does Buu, and they can both live without air, so if they are evenly matched, Buu might as well make a super bomb that would destroy half of the universe, and then, after Galactus is gone, Buu would just regenerate himself and use instant translocation to teleport on the other side of the universe, where he would hopefully find The Pheonix or Thanos or Thor or The Hulk or Onslaught and have more fun since fighting and killing is the only reason why he leaves.
Now, one might say that Galactus has enough power to blast Buu into peaces and so he would never regenerate himself, and that might be true, I do belive Galactus is capable of such power. However, rememeber the speed of Majin Buu, he's faster then Quicksilver and The Silver Surfer put together so there's not way Galactus can lay a hit on Buu, and therefore Buu might as well see Galactus in the Other World, after he's done with everyone on this world, and then kick his a$$ again.

Gonna go with Buu. Galactus is not as immortal as you would believe, especially if he has not fed in a while. Beta Ray Bill has blasted him with all his might and actually hurt him, and he has also been bested by Thanos, without the Infinity Gauntlet mind you. Buu is a cosmic entity that could beat just about anything. Galactus can eat planets, but Buu could turn Galactus into chocolate and eat him, so there.

Umm can anyone say Galactus !!!. He would kill buu where he stands ..he would use but a fraction of his power cosmic and with a snap of his mighty fingers Buu would just disappear into nothingness !!! ...Galactus is considered a God in Marvel U.. there is no way Buu could could match Galactus's powers ..everyone that selected Buu up there is on crack or smoking something good... That means Since Goku killed Buu that Goku could Kill Galactus !!!! come on !! Goku would be like a flea to Galactus ..Silver Sufer could take out Goku !!!! he couldn't touch Galactus.

Majin Buu cause 1st Buu can turn him into chocolate adn second is so obvious BUU CAN DESTRY THE WHOLE GALAXY........some of u wont agree but thats true because......Cell quoted in the cell games (when he regenerated after exploding) that he had enough energy to blow away the entire solar system........Broly was capable of destroying whole galaxies and Buu is stronger than Broly so its obvious.......

Considering buu can turn almost anything into chocolate or candy, Buu might be getting the biggest treat of his life!.Galacto-Bar candy.
Maybe Nova can serve as hot chocolate later on.
