You have no reason to be embarassed about seeing a GYN. It is important to take good care of your body and keep it healthy. It is such a sad thing that women need to feel embarassed about what makes us women.

Not really--and you are not alone, thousands of women go to the GYN everyday. If you have a male doctor there will be a nurse in the room with you. And even if you have a female doctor you can have a nurse there or take your mom, she's been there. Seeing a gynocologist is an important part of being a healthy woman. If you are sexually active you should go at least once a year for a check up.

it is sort of embarrasing but it's part of a woman's life, if u feel more comfortable ask for a woman gynecologist. it wont be that bad ive been through worse! and i do mean worse.. one time i got some bumps down there and i went to the doctor and she called another doctor and that doctor had another doctor come in and none could figure it out, i had 3 men and 2 women staring at my vagina trying to figure out what it was, turns out the pad was irritating my skin.. and i figured it on my own lol trust me it cant be worse than that.
