should the content of essay contain difficult and different words? can one write an essay in easy language and still get good marks?

its really about your argument. in fact grammar and spelling are not nearly as important as the structure of your argument. I wouldnt worry about throwing big words around for the heck of it, but you do want to sound intelligent, and defend your point intelligently.

yes, i have heard these essays are judged by graduate students for some allowances. And they are just looking for you to be able to communicate your thoughts.
