Each day seems like the other..I stay in my bed alot without doing anything not even thinking sometimes...I have no friends but a boyfriend for 4,5 years.I am too much depressive and hopeless about life and I think I make him unhappy... I tried to leave but he doesnt let me go.I dont know how to react any more.I feel safe in my cage but unhappy.I dont feel like getting out of my circle,it seems very much painfull.How can i be happy in my cage?

This is a poem by a great greek poet that describes your situation.

Although this poem seems very pesimistic it isn't. What it wants to say is that everything will look as a cage if you don't change the way you look at things.

I don't think a person can be happy in cage, metaphorical or otherwise. It is in our nature to seek new experiences and to improve ourselves. Stifle the nature and suffereing results. Don't know you, but you don't sound very happy, and if you stay if bed all day you probably don't have a job. Perhaps, you should see a doctor and find some new activities to enjoy.

Go to a hospital emergency room and tell this story. They will either get a psychiatric evaluation scheduled or call the cops to check your boyfriend, or both. Of course, if boyfriend won't let you out to go, then you need to call the police, who will make sure that one or the other of you can leave the house.

you dont sound very social or outgoing. maybe u shouldnt 'stay in your cage' if that makes you unhappy. make some quick friends try to get out of the house once in a while.

You can be happy anywhere if you are happy inside. You're not, and the "cage" is reinforcing your unhappiness. Get help. Listen to those people who said to call the police if necessary.

You can never be happy in a cage. I spent enough years in one to know. It sounds like your b/f loves you alot, I'd hang on to him, but you definitely need professional help to get over whatever is causing your constant depression.

just stay in your cage it seems good there dont go out side or talk 2 any one that may be bad lots of crazy people out there and they bite hard ouch one just bit me now anyway have pizza delivered 2 your house and stay there also watch out for those zombies they come out at night

he won't let you go? of course not because you are his property and he controls your life......get away! from that man !!!!!!!....he's not loving you...he's killing you!! that's horrible abuse...he keeps you a prisoner away from friends and people who can help you...where you are is NOT a "safe" place!! leave and go to a battered women's shelter..you do qualify...you will get the help you need...you asked for help....this is the kind of help you need!!!!! you may need to leave without his knowing it....or you may need to call the police and be there when you leave...and think about your happiness not his.. he has you brainwashed..
