I need help with html and I can't do the basic, I have a book that shows me special thinks like how to use url in liks andd stuff like that but it doesn't show me the basic like how to publish it on the web, the book also said I need a mentor so if you know anybody please help me

To put your webpages on the internet you need to find someone to host your website. There are a ton of hosting companies out there, some even do it for free. You will also need to purchase a domain name from a registrar. Those do cost, but usually it is a very small annual cost (I think I am paying $5 for mine).
You will then need to upload your html files to the site and your stuff will be live on the internet.

for very simple stuff
make an account at geocities or such a site
and then i'll be relatively clear on what to do
just paste your code into a new html page
and if you go to the url
u'll see ur page
you probably need a mentor
to help you understand some of the stuff better

I do. I have a site roxysnet.piczo.com .
Once yopu have the site, just put chatrooms using javascript, when your done, if you want the domain name you can find cheap ones for like 2.00 a year or go to http://domain-4free.com and you can register but you need to get visitors get your friends to go there then to publish it like on google or yahoo use META tags or submit it the site for domains put it on google automaticly. the solution, use a program like adobe dreamweaver to do the html stuff, hehe if you want hosting, a free hosting like 50webs is a nice 1, no ads too.
