She deserves the electric chair or better yet they need to put her in a pool and hold her head underneath the water. If she is insane, what good is she? They said she'll see a judge every so often to see if she can be realeased. C'mon, she'll only do it again. If it was my wife who killed my children, I wouldn't give a damn what they did to her. Insane or not.

I AGREE TOTALLY. SHE JUST PLEADED INSANITY TO GET OUT OF THE CONSEQUENCES FOR KILLING HER CHILDREN. IT'S NOT LIKE SHE SUFFERED FROM POSTPARTUM DEPRESSION AND EVEN IF SHE DID, WHICH I HIGHLY DOUBT, SHE SHOULD'VE GOTTEN HELP. SHE ENDED THE LIVES OF THOSE POOR KIDS WHO LOVED THEIR MOTHER MORE THAN ANYTHING AND FOR HER HUSBAND TO HAVE TO SIT AND LIVE WITH THE GUILT OF LEAVING HIS PRESCIOUS CHILDREN WITH THAT PSYCHO PIG IS JUST UNIMAGINABLE. I FEEL DEEPLY FOR HIM AND I HOPE MRS. YATES GETS EXACTLY WHAT SHE DESERVES... MAYBE THEY SHOULD DROWN HER SORRY A S S LIKE YOU SAID!!

What a shame. I can't believe the husband is still friends with her. Seems to me that he should have been aware of her problems. Why wasn't he put on trial for not coming forward and fixing her issues? I think he is just as guilty as she and it is very sad that the jury did not see the guilt in this. Insane? Not knowing that you are purposely hurting (much less killing) your children? I doubt it!

Lotta issues there. I definitely believe that the "Not guilty by reason of insanity" verdict is way overused. However, if anyone WAS not guilty by reason of insanity...it was her. She had a long-standing history that was obvious to anyone that knew her. For that reason, I place a lot of blame on the husband who didn't take aggressive steps in protecting his kids from the wife while she was being treated. I think that is why he continues to support her, because in his heart-of-hearts he knows he shares the blame.

Well her husband is no better!! He KNEW she had problems and kept getting her pregnant and then leaving her alone with them all day, even though she was depressed.
They need to castrate him right after they drown her!!!! He should not be allowed to make any more kids either!!!
