After Grand Royal Records' demise in 2001, Sean signed with Capitol Records. Yet no material surfaced until early February 2006 on his website.
A song called "Dead Meat" is to be his first single (with a video recorded and scheduled to be released) from his new album Friendly Fire.
The new album will be released in September 2006 on Capitol Records.
A promotional trailer leaked online in the Spring of 2006 on youtube.com that featured several clips from music videos that accompany each track on the new album. The video features Bijou Phillips, Lindsay Lohan, and Harper Simon.
