What a waster or talented guy?

In the early days of the libertines he had his fans people admired him but as soon as the drugs come along views totally change...I now think he is an arsehole and could've saved himself but didn't the guy's an idiot.

I used to think he was just a waster but now I do think he is extremely talented. I saw him on Jonathon Ross' TV show and it really changed my opinion of him. He sounded fantastic live and I think he has really realised that he was a waster and is trying to get out of those old habits. I think he will be great one day.

I saw him live last summer- he stumbled out on stage at Live 8 with a warn out officers jacket, a torn flag, and lighter in his mouth and sang Children of the Revolution, and I have to say I was discusted at his shambolic and disrespectful display, however I have to give credit where its due-hes got quite a set of pipes.
I really dont like him but he does have talent

He really is talented. The Libertines were a great band and if you listen to his lyrics he is really intelligent. He was respected before the tabloids found out about him. Saying that, don't like him doing drugs and splitting up the libs.

waster he sets a bad example to young impressionable people. He needs locking up to sort out his addictive problems before he is let loose on the world again.

i watched him on j ross as well and thought he seemed ok but what really annoys me is if he was average joe he would have been banged up ages ago why cos you are in the public eye do you get of time and time again just look at kate moss where is her kid and why arent social services involved cos she is a drug taking mother. if i was taking drugs or my boyfriend was they would be round here in a shot. been a "celeb" pays in more ways than one

Waste of space. The sooner gossip magazines and the tabloids stop giving him so much attention the better.

Cant stand him, he was good during the Libertines days, but now hes just your average crackhead. He needs more help and less attention.

total tosser - plays up the 'tortured artist' role to a tee, he's probably a boring **** who professes to know lots about everything but is really just tripping out his box and gibbering bollox.

hes a waste of space and a bad influence giving the message that its cool to be a drug addict.he should be made an example of and locked up.
