If you had to chose a college which one would it b? Michigan State University or University of Michigan?

Obviously, if you have the grades and test scores to qualify, the University of Michigan is the clear choice. It is much more reknown and respected. Not that MSU is a slouch, but, overall, the University is a better university.

Michigan (UM) is a good school on paper and employers will love it. But the school that is better as an experience would be MSU. The people are nicer not snobby and better atmosphere.
