Excuse me. It doesn't matter what you tell Uncle Sam in this case, if Israel stops fighting Hezbollah and Iran will simply annihilate the country? This isn't about blowing Lebanon to bits. And if the UN had done it's job Hezbollah wouldn't have the capacity to do what they are doing now.
I think it's time the Europeans got a bit of backbone all right, but to stop appeasing the Middle East. Remember where appeasement led before WWII.

Now this kills me, I am an American and dam proud of it! I get so sick of the American bashing, and calling us war mongers and murders, etc.
Who answers the phone when someone in on planet earth call 911? the U.S.A, that's who, if it wasn't for the U.S.A the world would be under some form of Islamic rule where you're life is run by a submissive religion, I don't know about you but that to me would suck, I'll take freedom thank you very much.

Europeans have every right to be mad at the US and they should exercise that right. They should also do it with caution. I am an American and am in disagreement with many of Bush's policies, but Israel is not one of them. Israel is the only democratic nation in the Middle East and neighboring countries like Lebanon and groups like Hezbollah want to drive Israel straight into the Mediterranean Sea. Israel has every right to defend itself, regardless of the USA's position to support them militarily or otherwise.
Think about Hezbollah and Hammas and any other groups who want Israel wiped of of the face of the earth for no real good reason. Now what if that happened in any European country. What would your position be? What would you do?
Criticize George Bush for a lot of things, but not about Israel.

Go ahead and tell us, we have learned not to listen to you anyway... Are you going to signal us in Morse Code with your white flags as you run away from yet another difficult situation? Oh, but please, do come back with your hand out (and one behind your back giving us the finger) when you need to be bailed out of your next political or financial bind. Uncle Sam is good old Uncle Sugar in that case...
If it isn't Winston Churchill or Maggie Thatcher or Tony Blair talking, it's doubtful that anything Europe has to say is worth listening to.

Dang tooting! I mean France, Russia, and Germany were such a big part of going to war in Iraq! They were there man, every second of that war, supporting the fight against terror!
Well, no, they weren’t. The EU refused to support UN resolutions it helped pass. In fact, France and Russia were benefiting from Saddam, giving him cash and weapons in return for oil.
The EU is one major crap-weasel.

We shouldn't have to tell them, we should expect them to have the common sense to act responsibly by themselves.
