Why don't presidents fight the war? Why do they always send the poor?

My dad used to be a recruiter in the Army and I know that they would always target lower income neighborhoods when recruiting.

Why would you go to a war if a president doesn't feel strongly enough about it to go there himself?

I believe Presidents are too afraid. I think Theodore Roosevelt is the kicka$s president. The reason why our president sends the poor to war is because he believes that they have nothing else to do but fight. Rich people, on the other hand, have a better life to live other than the poor. I feel sorry for the poor, they were forced to go fight and I believe it's wrong. Send the people from the army, not from a poor neighborhood!

Many of our presidents have already served and fought for their country. The previous Mr. Bush was a fighter pilot in the Pacific Theater of WWII. Jimmy Carter served as an engineer in a nuclear submarine. John Kennedy on PT boats in the Pacific. Does anyone remember Eisenhower's contibutions? Truman saw a lot of action in WWI Europe. Teddy Roosevelts Rough Riders.

Bush's dad BUSH I fought in WWII and was shot down, as did Eisnehower and Kennedy. My son would like to join the Marines and fly an apachi in iraq, but his wife says no, has two kids now. The marines take you to age 42 now. My son is 39 and a successful lawyer, making lots of money. Has a university education followed by law school. Has assets and income that put him in the top one percent of the population. Definitely not poor.

Poway, a San Diego county girl....? Hmmm, well, that's not what Presidents do in a Democracy. If we lived under a military dictatorship, then the leader, Generalissimo Bush, would be in the field. And they don't send the poor, they send the military....some of whom happen to be rather poor, but that's beside the point.

Well, then you ahven't been out in the upper middle class areas.....there are recruiters everywhere......and you are right....the Presidents want the wars, they should fight it...one on one....whoever wins, wins the war.....can you imagine how great the presidents would look? and how good of shape they would be in? WOW!!

Why?
I will try to answer this question! As long people don't take responsability over their own acts, thoughts, emotions & don't discover what being spiritual (as far it's an important topic for them or still live so) really means for them, they just would blindly follow the 1st Fascist-minded Guy around without being able to make the difference between this same Fascist & a true Democratic Leader

The Fascist knows how to manipulate the people throught their fears, their believes and by keeping them far away from Knowledge. Well, the game becomes truely easy to order a poor man/woman with no money in its pockets & who cares for his/her family to go to war; they still have nothing and are leaved in the believe that if they don't go to war, they will have less as they still have.......(Remember what they had befor the fear to loose what they never had??....)
Fear, The Believes Of People & Hidden Information is the key of Power to a politician! Being a "Good a Politician" is not the same as being a "Good Leader"! A Leader of a tribe (let's formulate it like this ;-) ) brings & let work all his talents for and to serve the same tribe. Is that the case for politicians? Make yourself a picture! The lack of true Knowledges & true Believes makes it possible to a politician to let you make the war instead of him !!!! God Surely exists, but choosing to believe cause you're teached so isn't the same as discovering Knowledges concerning him without externel influences or religions! They talk about "Peace Processes" but Love is an absolut "Tabou"-Subject inside theses "Peace Process"!!!! Funny, isn't it? The core, the heart of it is occulted. Guess Why? Because You have to believe that you must serve "Them" by going to war (just an example under many) for them and and the same moment, they do money with this war.
Democratie means: The Leader serves the tribe true his knowledge and gives it to him to make decisions as awaken people.
What leads to a Fascist State: You serve the state with just a little parcel of knowledge, and your will to follow blind, based on your believes, your ignorance and ability to be manipulated at will. Nothing in politics happens by accident or by coincidence. Everything is always planed. Always!
So you can choose to play the game or leave it.

He refused to follow blind nosense orders in the army and they declared him "Unfit" for the army....Why? Because he knew! He was educated and was constantly in a process of self-education!
