Love is like heaven if you choose a good spouse, I guess.You're gonna have some fights if even if you do have a good spouse. I'm still a young teen but I do know that most people are always being hurt because they haven't seen what a real relationship is supposed to be like. I dont know.

Interesting. I remember when my first serious girlfriend and I decided to have sex - first time for both - and she noted that such a heavenly experience hurt like hell.
Later, when she gave me the boot, it felt like she'd stuck her boot 10 feet up my @ss.
So, I guess, it's like a pendulum. If it has enough momentum to deliver you into the heavens, then the reverse momentum is sufficient to cast you into the depths of despair.
And only time will stop the pendulum and bring peace.

And even though the pendulum answer set off the BS alert, it kind of fits the situation.

Everyone has love to give or share, but if
one cannot express it, well, it hurts like hell !!
Or if you give love and it is not returned, then
that ol hell feeling comes around again ...
Love should be : never having to say it hurts like hell !!

It is bound to happen! as if a piece of thread separates them It's like love & hate..they are feelings. Feelings are for feelings. The opposite of love is apathy, having no feeling at all. So if love hurts like Hell, be thankful--it's a proof you are not numb, you can feel the pain, therefore there is hope to feel better.

because when ur with that person it heaven than when u and that person get problems going than things get to one or the other and it hurts like hell

maybe because of the power it has!! there is always two sides to everything and your right, love is like being in "Heaven" and it can completely hurt like "Hell" because we allow it to.

Its like this if someone you really don't care about calls you a " stupid good for nothing" you would'nt care.. but if your mom or your gf says it, then it bothers you ( it would bother me). It always hurts when it comes from the ones we love. And usually its the ones we love, that hurt us the most. When we have feelings or love someone, their perception and attitude toward us really matter to us.

l think its like heaven when you are still happily in love but when its over it can hurt like hell, though l've never been to hell l assume hell is better
