I have a guitar lesson next week, but I'm worried about leaving my guitar in the car due to the heat (my car feels like an oven when it's been sitting in the sun all day). Would it be a bad idea to leave it out there all day?

I also take guitar lessons and I found our from my instructor that if you leave your guitar in the car too long in hot weather such as what you experience it can cause the bridge to pop out and can also cause the wood to expand. I would not recommend it. Perhaps you can take it indoors with you. Have fun, guitar rocks!

NO, NO, NO- find another solution- get out of work early if you have to, but don't leave your guitar in a hot car- especially an acoustic- it'll kill it really quickly....

Bad idea.
The wood and glue are just as sensitive to temperature changes as you are.
Take it inside at work...surely they have a place where you can leave personal items.

Yes. The excess heat could warp your guitar.

You better take your guitar with you, those sensitive instruments can be easily damaged by heat.
