i think i eat normally, sleep enough and keep my stress under control. but my eyes are still ugly red. not like pink eye red, but they are red like when a person gets really mad red. oh i don't want to use visine or red eyes because i heard that over time they dry out your eyes and the problem becomes worse. is there something i can eat or i don't know. what's your advice on this?

Saline eye drops can be used as much as you need them. Wear sunglasses when you are outside and reduce the amount of time you spend around pollen and other allergens.

Have you gone to your eye doctor about this? Is this sudden? This could be a symptom of a more serious problem that could only be identified by an optometrist or ophthalmologist. I would seek medical attention ASAP.
And it's great to read about someone who knows that visine is not an ideal drop!!! You are completely correct about not using them. If you want to use drops try to find systane, refresh tears, genteals, to name a few - also look for ones that specify they have no preservatives.
Good luck

Drink lots of water and use visine. Eye drops will only dry out your eyes over long term use, not temporary relief. Anyways increased water intake will help you to rehydrate your body, icluding your eyes.

Darn, I was gonna say there's a visine for that, LOL. I agree with the cucumbers. It could also be allergies - ever tried Reactine or something?

Try using a cool compress on your eyes, like cucumber slices or a gel pack.

Flushing them out w/water? Have u had an allergy test? Maybe your cat/dog/bird or something like dust is irritating them.
