Probably in the manuals and instruction book that came with the oven. Or it could be on the back of the oven, but that would mean pulling the thing out too much trouble. Have you tried finding Hotpoints website, you will almost certainly find the model and the number that you are looking for.

The model plates are usually found on the part of the oven that is covered by the lip of the oven door. Open the door and look all around the outside of the oven door perimeter for a metal medallion with the information you need.

It might help get us on the right path to an answer if you could tell us at least, whether it's a gas range or electric. And you really should look for the model number. It's usually located, either on the side of the range body under the oven door, or under the range top lid.

open the door and look on the top of the oven, or on the side. there should be a medalion w/the number on it. Or look around the side of the door.. good luck! ps. then its on the back

There should be a label on it. Either on the back of the unit, or in the oven, or under the burners.
