If today was tomorrow, then tomorrow would be dayafter and yesterday would be today.

It's easy. Think you've time travelled to tomorrow. Then today would be tomorrow! Ta-daaaa.

and Today (meaning the previous day) would be yesterday. and yesterday (of today) would become day before yesterday

it's like this..

today = tomorrow

then, logic says that today would be yesterday and goes like this..

today = yesterday

so since today is equal to yesterday and tomorrow..

yesterday = tomorrow

remember a = b, b = c, so c = a??

Theoretically.
However,
Today cannot be tomorrow. Tomorrow never gets here.
Yesterday can't be today because it was never here.
So we are stuck with today. Always.
Theoretically.
