Is it true Postman Pat was banned in China because he only had three fingers?

I heard this years ago and was told they banned the kids programme because Chinese kids would think he was a Triad.

In Scotland, Postman Pat is shown not only in English but also sometimes broadcast as Pàdraig Post, in the Gaelic language, on BBC Scotland.

Probably. Put a search on the internet. Lots of people believe that drawings with three fingers are crude. things like the Simpsons are banned in places because of it so i presume they would do the same with postman pat
