I really have no idea why the Jews get so much abuse. All they have is little bitsy piece of land surrounded by huge Arab countries. Just look at a world map, you will be amazed.
The most unbelievable thing is, how the Arabs treat their fellow Arabs. In every civilized country, when there are refugees from a neighboring country streaming over it's borders, they help them, or give them citizenship, or both. Especially, if the country shares the same religion or ethnicity as the refugees. And the more so, if that country itself was the reason for all the refugees to begin with. But not so the Arab countries, they refuse to help their fellow Arabs that were unfortunately displaced because these same countries decided to attack Israel. They keep them holed up in disgusting and squalid refugee camps. That way they can use them as pawns, and say to the world, ''Look at what the Israelis are doing to the Arabs.'' The Arab behavior in that aspect (and in many other aspects) is beyond despicable.

Sometimes you have to view a situation from the other sides' perspective...

Some would agree that the Arabs have supported organized terrorism and actively engages in jihad (holy war) against Israel (and by default, the western nations that support Israel).

Some would say that Israel's current military action against Lebanon is an organized act of terrorism against an entire nation, not a military defense of the country's borders against Arab radical's (Hezbollah's) repeated attacks.

Some would say that Israel is defending the Jewish homeland, while others would say that very same homeland was stolen from them and what was once theirs should be theirs again.

For every reason given to explain how this conflict is a clash of culture, religion and civilization, there are two points of view.

Both sides see the other as the aggressor, as the evil to be stopped. Both sides think the other is part of a backward culture, religion or civilization.

It's all a matter of perspective---and until both points of view can be understood by both sides---the dispute is doomed to continue.

Unfortunately this is a Western Woman (American) talking.
I don't think you would find even a single true Arab woman who thinks this way, let alone be allowed to speak it on television.
There are a few mistakes in what she said. For one thing I can think of at least 2 times when an a Jewish terrorist slaughtered innocent Arabs (1993,2005). People are people you can't generalize like that, you have Jews who are just as backward and ignorant as any redneck hick you might think of, then again you have very intelligent Muslims and Arabs, like this woman speaker.
By the way, the Arabs laid down the foundations for scientific research a long time before any Jew or christian thought about it. Modern chemistry has its sources in al-chemi (as in alchemist) which was invented by the Arabs in the early middle-ages.
