NOOO ..... that is absolutely false.... cold water is good for your skin and helps you relax but thats it...... for cellulite the best thing is to stimulate the circulation in the affected area.... I use a botanically based scrub and then a cream but never cold water, on the contrary warm water is what i use to rinse the scrub away. The scrub contains micro bids and this helps stimulate the circulation on the area and then when you rinse with warm water it will keep the circulation running.

I know that if you use hot or warm water it opens up your pores and if at the end of your shower you use cold water it will close them up again helping your skin against break out and the pores in your hair from becoming dry and stay healthy i do it all the time...it doesn't hurt to try.

I know they if u immerse yourself in ice cold water with big ice cubes, it tightens up the skin pushing cellulite back so that it isn't apparent!!

I've heard that it increases shine with hair and temporarily tightens skin. According to my colleague his wife has done this for years and her breasts have remained quite perky but I personally thinks that's more to do with not having children!
