first, i find it a waste of my energy and time to hate anyone. think about this. isn't it easier to just quit thinking about them? or to avoid them?

second, why should you wish that anyone is dead only because YOU hate them? who are you to determine when and why a person should die? do you see yourself as the creator of life?

tell me, if you look at a plant and hate the way it looks, do you step on it to kill it?

no, i do not hate, even though i have good reason to hate, specifically, a person who once crossed me and my entire family horribly, and certainly, i don't wish that she would drop dead.

why is that? because, if you look around you, you always see that everyone gets back the bad "karma" that they put out. what goes around comes around. if you hate and you do things against someone that you hate, it will kick you in your fanny and you will not even realize what happened and where it came from!

hope you can change your attitude, because not only do you waste your time and energy, but it is an ugly attitude and no good for anyone.

Every day! The only thing that makes my wish invalid is that if they were, then they would not live to regret their mistakes! That makes me glad they are still alive...to know they still have time to suffer for what they did...however, my hatred is not geared by petty things but are related to valid moral issues. The difference between an annoying ex and someone who did illegal immoral things to destroy someone you love and got away with it. The first is petty and immature in that you can not maturely hate someone you partner dated in grade school. That is just silly. However the latter is valid and powerful. Hope this answers your question!

No, but peopel generally think it's a good idea to feel this way, because we want that person, who caused us anger, or pain, or just general frustrations to disapear, so we no longer have to feel that emotion any more.

Wishing someone was dead, and wanting someone to be dead are completely differant. Wanting someone dead, generally leads to malicious behavor against a person. Wishing someone was dead, genearally you try to get along, because that person effects your life, or get along with the situation they put you in. But you wish you didn't have too.

I have said that when I was hurt, but I didn't mean it. My soon to be ex husband cheated on me and hurt me greatly. There were days I felt so angry. I said I wish he would just die. I didn't mean it though. I let anger and hatred brew itself out. I write angry letters, wait a few days and then read them again when I have calmed down. I usually end up laughing at myself for the way I vented and am very glad I didn't send the letters. I burn them and let the smoke take the anger away symbolically.

Yes I have, many many times. But I have also learnt that when you wish such a bad thought for someone, you are only creating bad Karma for yourself. I would rather that they get what they deserve, and they WILL someday, because HE is fair and watches over all of us; than collect bad wishes for myself too...call me selfish but now my motto is to live and let live. Death is eventual for all of us, so all in good time!!

No, as much as I hate someone I don't hope they die! That's not a good feeling! Besides if you wish or hope for such thing, who knows it could turn back on you and even worse!

Yes. One person and one person only. I know for 100% certainty that the world would be much better off if he was six feet under ground.
