Reading would require some sort of education. Based on the spelling and grammar and elementary political propaganda polluting this website, I'd say reading is a bit too much for most of these people to handle. We should start with something more basic, like counting to three.
One...two...three.

I always read the question before answering it. Your question ask. do people actually READ these questions before they answer them? or do they just skim them until they see a word that has something to do with their misinformed political agenda, and make some retarded comment that supports it? I read your question and wrote it the same way you did. I get your point loud and clear, some people will say anything just to get points or to show off. Political points of view are like assholes every one has one. The same goes for religion.

Well, based on my few months of experience in here, I have found that most folks do not read the additional details section. They simply read your question and instantly try to pounce on you. Like, if you ask a question about the Yankees you will be flooded with dozens of Red Sox fans cussing you out. Or vice versa. Even if you are not a fan of either team and you mention that in the additional details. And if you ask a question about Democrats, you get dozens of conservatives cussing you out. Even if you mention in the additional details that you are a libertarian and do not support either major party. Assumptions, assumptions, assumptions. So what I am saying here is that many times folks are ignorant, agressive, and not very articulate. They only see what they want to see. And that is the reason why there are so many problems in the world today.

No, they don't a lot of the time. I saw a question about affairs and people automatically assumed that the person was looking for approval to screw a married man!
A lot of people simply cannot be detached, impartial and sensible. They can't do it. Hence all the wars and hatred in the world.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I read the questions. Although, some of the answers that have been given to some questions did not seem to fit.

I think a lot of people don't really read the whole question, maybe just scan them or maybe they get bored. Myself yes I read the whole question just so I actually have a clue about what they are saying.

Most people just read the first part, unfortunately. And whether or not that part even sunk in, is questionable.

Maybe.
But it is obvious that many people do not read their answers before posting them.
Never saw so much apparent illiteracy.
