As I have stated in trying to answer questions in this realm, I have been an airbrush artist for over 3o years, and have worked on practically every surface imaginable. I have found that a good, base gun to use for textiles is the Paasche VL series, using a #3 needle and tip works best. it allows fine enough lines for detail, and broad enough strokes for larger shadings. if you intend to do portraits, or other element critical designs, there are Iwata Stage guns with precise guage needle assemblies, or shift to a smaller, perhaps #1 needle assembly for the Paasche. in either case, good luck to you

Pashe H Helio, this is probably spelled wrong. It has removable tips. Also, the VL is good.
