In a car? Make sure you and everyone with you is ok. Make sure the other people are okay. Call the cops if it's not your fault, and call your insurance.

Who is hitting you?
There is NO good reason for anyone to hit anyone. It doesn't matter how upset they are or what you did. NOTHING justifies hitting another person. Period.
If your parents are hitting you, I'd tell your school nurse and or guidance councelor and show them any marks you have on your body. That is a scary situation to be in and it is important for you to understand that it's not your fault and that you are lovable and that there ARE people out there who will believe you and help you.
If it is someone who is older who is in your family like an uncle or grandparent, or older sibling, telling your parents should work. They should be looking out for you. If not, I'd talk to your school councelor and or school nurse as above.
If it is someone who is about your age I'd say you should defend yourself. You don't need to beat someone to a pulp to get the message across, just deflecting their punches etc and get them into a submissive position (like below you on the ground or something) is what's important. Look them in the eye with confidence & let them know that their behavior is NOT acceptable. If you let them see that you are afraid, they may think that they can continue to get away with treating you in this way. I'd still tell your parents, school nurse, guidance councelors and teachers where appropriate. People who can't control their anger need help sometimes in learning to deal with it better. That is what councelors and stuff can be good for. It is not your job to help them with that. Telling on them and having people talk to them and get them help is better for everyone in the long run. Even them.
If it is someone who is younger than you who is hitting you, I'd say pretty much the same thing as above. Deflect their attacks, let them know in a very firm way that it is NOT ok & tell your parents or their parents or any adult who can be of help.
I hope this helps :)

If a person hit me, I'd beat the snot out of them! No hesitations! I would open up a can of whoop @**!
If you mean in a vehicle... I'd probably call the police ASAP, or 911, depending on what else is going on, if anyone is hurt and what not.
But yeah, as for another person hitting you... YOU have the right to defend yourself, and believe me I would! If I don't let my mama hit me, I'm not gonna let some other jack@** do it either!

Hit like HOW?
In the face? Maliciously? I'd hit back.
Accidentally? I'd do nothing.
Hit as in a traffic accident? I'd let the insurance companies handle it.

If it's by a fist or another body part, pull out the pepper spray. If it's by a car, take their license plates down, don't leave the site, and call the police and make a report.

depends on who is doing the hitting I suppose. If it is a child, I remove myself from the situation. If it is an adult, I defend myself.
