Why is it that is you ask a really stupid question,( Like asking people if they knew Lance Bass was gay), It get a ton of response! But if you ask a meaningful question, you get only a couple of answers???

Because people are dumb and don't know the answers to intelligent questions? Just my guess.

I guess that says quite a lot about the people answering those kind of stupid questions.
Me? I answer stupid questions all the time. But I prefer to think of them as humorous, challenging.
There is a difference between stupid and stupid.
Some people ask brilliantly stupid questions.... :))

Meaningful questions are usually in a select field, so it takes someone with select knowledge to give a decent answer, whereas stupid questions can be answered by anybody and everybody. And they usually are, too.

Because meaningful questions deserve thoughtful answers and it seems there are not as many people willing to think about their responses and truly try to help people.

It says something about the intellect and young age of many of the people on here. I usually try to answer with as much sincerity as I can and leave the really sill questions alone.

Not everybody knows the answer to a smart question.Stupid question deserve an answer too.Even if the answer is as stupid as the question.

It's true unless you are a flamer or you pick a really hot topic that alot of people know about and have an opinion about. Other wise you only get a few intellectuals that know alot about alot of topics.
