I see by your name that you want to go snowboarding, so yes you can make it with two wheel drive. Most resorts will make sure the roads are clear and easy to travel, they have to or their clients will not make it!

Your question is too vague, we need more information.
If it is a Forest Access road, they are typically accessible by 2wd cars and trucks. Now if you are referring to "jeep" trails and steep mountain climbs, then no, only four wheel drive will get you there.

Do not believe the hype that front wheel drive will get you up a mountain where rear wheel drive can't. A lot of it depends on the road condition, the vehicles capabilities, and the drivers level of skill.
I have pulled many front wheel and four wheel drives out because of drivers lack of skills and judgement, while I drove by them in two wheel drive.

as long as theres not a ton of snow, you should be fine.

even with some light snow, you should be OK if you have front wheel drive.
