why are countries evacuating people from Lebanon, but not from Israel??

thewall, i hate to break it to ya, but the Hizballah have been bombing tons of heavily populated Israeli places, killing innocent civillians in the process... get a clue!

i may be young- 16- but im not detached from the world!!!!! i live in israel and i am very much aware of what is going on around me!!!!!

alot of damage has been caused in israel!!!! and do you know that the IDF and the police admitted that the arabs have the capacity to reach Tel Aviv?!?!?

and we're all forgetting one very important thing: THE ISRAELI HOSTAGES!!!!! gilad shalit- ring a bell??

Israel is standing firm. This war will not end until Israel gets the land that God promised them.

According to the Bible, particularly in Genesis, the Land of Israel was promised as an everlasting possession to the descendants of Hebrew patriarchs Abraham, Isaac and Jacob by God, making it the Promised Land.

On that day, God made a covenant with Abram, saying: "To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt as far as the great river the Euphrates. The land of the Kenites, Kenizites, Kadmonites; the Chitties, Perizites, Refaim; the Emorites, Canaanites, Gigashites and Yevusites." - Genesis 15:18-21

When the Israelites were about to invade the promised land, God reiterated the land promise, as recorded in Joshua 1:4, "Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates — all the Hittite country — to the Great Sea on the west."

With Genesis 15:18 and Joshua 1:4 in mind, the land God gave to Israel included everything from the Nile river in Egypt to Lebanon (North to South) and everything from the Mediterranean Sea to the Euphrates River (West to East).

So, what land has God stated belongs to Israel?

All of the land modern Israel currently possesses, plus all of the land of the Palestinians (the West Bank and Gaza), plus some of Egypt and Syria, plus all of Jordan, plus some of Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Israel currently possesses only a fraction of the land God has promised.

Your obviously very young or detached from the world. Israel is a first world military superpower. They invented the UZI. The US has provided them weapons planes and bombs for years. Lebanon is a peaceful country with little use for conflict. Only lebanese terrorists are firing on Israel with missiles that cant reach very far. There is much less destruction going on in Israel than in Lebanon

cuz Lebanon is being mass murdered and obviously people knew this wud happen from the beggining cuz they started evacuating people..this was planned.....people spend alot of money to go visit their family there for the whole summer, and now they are being evacuated, having to hide out and sneak around so they dont get killed...disgusting.....obviously Lebanon is going to be destroyed and many more have perished on this side. So many tourists go to Leb for the summer that shud tell u something that its not some stupid place that nobody shud visit.

There are some cities in Israel that have been hit, and I believe that people were evacuated there, heading to shelters. I agree that Israel is a superpower. Please read Ezekiel 38 and 39 in the Holy Bible. It is a prophecy that is happening right now and will happen soon. Very interesting stuff, indeed.

Because the Hezbollah Terrorists decided to start a Crisis from Lebanon...they use Human shields to protect their cowardly azzez...and the Lebanese are not the ones really evacuating their country..its the FOREIGNERS.... Lebanese are "people" that will go where the "grass is greener" . I'm not exactly sure and I'm not siding here but I think its because Lebanon is the one that got attacked to begin with. They are the one's with biggest percentage of deaths.
