I got DSL on my home computer in my parents bedroom but I got a laptop with a wireless networking card. Can u tell me exactly what I got to do to make my laptop go on the internet?

You need a Cable/.DSL Router with wireless, such as the Linksys WRT54G.
Run the supplied software CD and the Setup Wizard will walk you through setting up a wireless network.

Is it a DSL Modem or Router that you have? Before you can go wireless you need to have a wireless router.

u need to get a router, follow the manual word for word
it needs to be a dsl router
and do this
plug in the modem in wan port on router
reboot both of them, connect the ethernet cable from the router to your laptop our pc to config the routers wep/passphrase etc
job done
