During Busch qualifying I almost got run over along with Smoke cuz the fans wouldn't get out of the way when the officials were whistling. I started pushing em back and I guess Tony thought I was trying to help him and he said Thank you and winked.
NOT the weirdest thing but I almost got my *** hit and so did he... Would have made interesting headlines to say the least

There are plenty of wierd things that have happened in NASCAR. I would have to say in the early 1990's back when Dale Earnhardt was still alive. He was leading the Daytona 500 with under 20 laps to go and a pretty good strangle hold on everyone, the front grill of his car ran into a seagull flying by. It ruined his car and he lost the race. Go all Earnhardt's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When Sterling Marlin got out of his car during a black flag and started pulling the fender off his tire. The funniest part was when the official came up behind him and scared him, and made him get back in his car.
After that people would have signs that said " Stay in your car Sterling"

The in car camera when Bobby Labonte was airbourne over Tony Stewart at Talladaga several years ago. Not good flying over your team mate and BOTH cars had in car cameras!!!

a couple of years ago at the Chicago land speedway when it was called the Tropicana 400, during Qualifying an orange balloon broke free and was going down the track!! it was funny

a while back in the early '90s can't recall which year it was. but in the Daytona 500 Dale Earnhardt hit a seagull on the back strech. it was both weird and funny.
