We only use upto 10% of our brain at any given time, we do in fact use 100% of our brain, and will use 100% of our brain within a second, but not all at once, or it would cause intense overheating of the brain and such. Also the different parts we use at a time affect our perception, which is why LSD is considered dangerous because it temporarily and eventually permanently rewires your brain in a different direction. As well LSD and other drugs generally make you use more of your brain, increasing your internal core temperature, as well as your breathing/heartbeat, to allow for you to compensate. Using 100% in one instance (an instance being like 0.5 milliseconds) would cause you to have intense seizures and die.

Scientists do not say that by way of the undeniable fact that is a city legend. All of our mind is usable. That reported, there are cases even as area of the mind is unused; like in case your are in finished silence, then the area of the mind that analyzes speech to extract meaning does no longer have something to do. In finished darkness, your seen cortex is out of work. a similar way that you aren't to any extent further truly making use of all of your hands muscle once you're using a bicycle, and under no circumstances making use of your leg muscle even as typing on the computer; area of your mind is in use or no longer in use reckoning on the circumstances. besides the undeniable fact that it is all usable and linked.
