Two options for you.

1. Crayola sells modeling clay that works great.

2. Make some yourself:

4 cups flour
1 tsp alum (found in the spice aisle at walmart)
1 1/2 cups salt
1 1/2 cups water

Mix together flour, alum and salt. Gradually add water to form a ball. Knead until no longer falls apart. (add a little water if needed).

Let project dry for 2 days. Paint, Enjoy

Sorry my Transfers website at GlassAttic did no longer help. It surely does have a load of advantageous information from many clayers who've completed transfers effectively over the years (with many distinctive techiques/kit/aspects), as properly as troubleshooting what the subject concerns could properly be, yet there is very almost too lots information there. (And, doing transfers effectively are between the toughest issues to do in polymer clay, till you merely take place upon an excellent mix of fabric/kit/technique good from the commencing up--which does take place to some human beings-- or you employ between the "less complicated" procedures, making use of magazine-website photographs case in point). i'm unsure the place you have considered articles that say an inkjet printer could artwork (properly) while used with known paper, yet many times to make an excellent saturated circulate you will choose: ...the two a toner-based photograph (created on a laser printer, a photocopier, or an inkjet printer that makes use of *everlasting* ink) onto known paper (or onto different slick papers like parchment, and so on) ...or you will choose an inkjet photograph revealed onto between the particular kinds of paper that are clay-lined inclusive of a few photograph papers (or very slick) and overall performance as "circulate papers." otherwise, you will get a dwindled photograph, or none in any respect. you do no longer say particularly no count in case you're making use of the liquid clay merely as a helper and shifting "promptly" onto clay, or making use of it to create an middleman "sticker" circulate which you will later positioned onto clay, so i'm unsure what else to declare approximately that. (while a sticker is made --it quite is reversible because of the fact this is clean-- the liquid clay is in many cases poured onto a sheet of glass, so if that's what you're doing the foremost subject you would be able to correctly be having is the form of paper you're making use of, *jointly with* the form of ink or toner you're making use of. Or it must be a manner ingredient like how long you're letting the image sit down, how properly you're burnishing, no count in case you're making use of a helper like warmth or a solvent, and so on.)
