This has probably been asked many times already, but I'm really wondering whether I've hit my height peak. I know height is usually related to genetics and depends on my parents, but I don't think I can use that here. I'm taller than both of my parents already, I'm 5'7''. Is that alright for a 14 yr old? (turning 15 in about 2-3 months) My dad is about 5'4'' my mom around 5'0''. Yea, I have short parents

The thing is, some of my brothers and sisters are pretty tall. My brother is 5'11'' (maybe even 6 already), my little brother 5'5'' and getting much taller and he's only 12. I'm wondering about me though. I think 5'7'' is short and most of my friends are all taller than me. I want to be at the least 5'9'' maybe 5'10''

Will I still get taller? I know I'm still growing at fourteen but is there a certain time when you stop getting taller? I haven't grown much since last year (I was what, 5'6''?). So I only grew an inch. Not much, and a slow rate. What can I do to help with my growth?

You still have several years of growth ahead of you. There is no set time for men to stop growing, but the average is usually between 18 and 20 years. If your siblings are already taller and biologically similar to you, you too will grow taller. Eat well and sleep at least 9 hours a day. Most growth occurs at night while lying in bed. And don't ever be disappointed with your height, most great world leaders in history and science were 5'6" or less! It's true, check it out!

Most men stop growing around the age of 25. But the rate will slow down all along the way. You are a good height for your age. Average height for a 15 year old is 5'7". That means there are as many guys shorter than you as taller. It's very possible for you to reach 5'9" or 10". As for your siblings, I've found that younger siblings are taller than the older ones. But in awhile you won't care.

I don't think you'll get any taller because your parent's or short but you can increase your height by doing allot of toe raises and drinking a gallon or two of milk a day you have to concentrate on conditioning your calve muscles and your Thigh muscles for the next 10 years.

Growth rate is different for everyone. I stopped getting taller at 16. You might keep growing well beyond that, though. Five-foot-seven is about where I was at 14; this is just fine.

Oh right, Dil. Toe lifts are NOT going to make you taller.

You are still in early puberty, so chill out. Don't worry about your height--you can still grown into your early 20's. You have a lot of changes coming up so just relax.
