Try leaving him, see if he thinks it's still funny.

If he's cleaning his teeth properly each night and uses a mouthwash, it might be that the problem is from his gut. If so, a change in diet may help. Get him to eat parsley to help neutralise odour. Strange as it may seem, breathing through your mouth during the night can make breath smell worse too. Does he have any cavities?
A nutritionist may be able to help. Failing that, I'd seek advice from your Dentist - it doesn't sound like he thinks the problem is HIS problem, so he prob wouldn't want to go himself.

Hi
Do all the above but take him a bottle of water to bed and make sure he drink 1/2 before he goes to sleep and 1/2 when he wakes up.
Also tell him to Floss when he brushes and Gargarle 3 times a day if it really bad..
But most off all Talk to him and tell him.

Maybe he needs to see a doctor - it could be halitosis, and I'm sure there's something to help cure it. Or do it the old-fashioned way - keep a box of mints or gum on the dresser by the bed and make sure he has one before turning over in the morning :)

Keep extra strong mints beside the bed, and make him eat one when he wakes up. Threaten to chuck him if he refuses, he's not much of a boyfriend/husband if he makes you sick by breathing on you and ignores your complaints. Make sure he brushes his teeth before he goes to bed.

If he is too thick to listen to you and get to a doctor or dentist, dump him; halitosis is not funny- it can also mean you have something wrong with your kidneys, stomach and a lot of other organs. If he want to die, let him get on with it.
