Test cricket is more important as it is the form of cricket that tests the cricketer completely. He has to be fit for 5 days and must be able to concetrate and bat or bowl for long hours. Thus test cricket is the most important form of cricket.
In ODI players are excused for throwing there wicket away saying that the run rate is low and technique faults are less tested in ODI. Test cricket requires all the techniques of the player to be perfect other wise they cannot survive. ODI is just for entertainment. Test is for the people who love cricket.

Test matches are the true ones that test the ability and the ditermination of the player.
On the other hand, ODI cricket is the game that tests the intelligenceand the compactability of the player.
On a whole both are good games.
Viewing closely, there is a dis-advantage with test cricket. It is that it takes much time to get the result. This is a dis-advantage only due to the reason that man is busy. But a cricket lover like both the forms of the game.
Considering the above views, I will say that ODI is better than Test cricket.

I consider test cricket as better than ODI coz test cricket is a real TEST of talent of any player.Alson a country is regarded as good team when they go and win a test series abroad not an ODI series.So by considering any case we acn say that TEST cricket can be regarded as important.

Test matches as this is a truer reflection of the high levels of skill involved in cricket. You need to work harder for your runs and wickets in Test matches than you do in ODI's.

Test matches are tests to see u how u play the sport. ODI matches are to see who wins the cup which is better etc.
