I am in agreement with that!

Those with talent and creativity are usually plagued with mental illness, doubts about the world and life itself. Their intelligence can be a curse as it is the creativity and their ability to 'see' what others can't that destroys them. Almost all geniuses known throughout history have had mental illnesses of some sort.

The 'dullards' of this world are not creative or sensitive enough to understand life's complexities and problems and so they very hardly get 'down' and find it easy to get through life and it's tasks thus making them very adaptable to all situations leaving them settled and calm in all situations.

That's my theory anyway.

They may be the dullest, but they're probably better educated. People in the arts are not given a free ride. They have to struggle like everybody else.

Life is not fair. It never was. If it were, people in health, education and welfare would earn high salaries as opposed to the athletes.
