Well, it depends on what way you define 'better'.
For Relaxation/de-stressing and 'enjoyment'-definitely a bath as one can feel totally dutyfree.
But for cleanlyness- it is most definitely a shower as not only are the germs washed off you, it is constant fresh water washing them.

It depends. If you take a bath you should make sure that the tub is clean! Who knows what has been laying in there or who. But a shower is much less relaxing but is faster and you get cleaned better. If you like to be relaxed take a bath but if you wanna be really clean take a shower!

well, a bath could be bathing in your own filth or its healthy for your skin if you add in some nutrient stuff. If you're tired after work, i'd say a 1-2 hour bath soak is better than a shower. if you add in some scented oil pills in a hot bath tub, it feels and smells soo nice.
i usually take showers and it still refreshes me....well, only a little. but to be more clean...i'd take showers. or you can take a bath then a shower. your choice.

There's nothing better than soaking in a hot tub after a long day. It is relaxing and calming. I have a bath pillow, so I can veg in the tub for hours if I want. I also have a long shower nozzle that I can use while I sit in the tub. I use it to wash and rinse my hair, so I am not using "dirty" water to wash my hair.
For getting clean in a hurry, the shower is always a good choice, but for the pure experience of relaxing, nothing is better than a nice hot bath!

Not all females can take a bath (some woman's skin get irritated). However, if I want to relax, I take a bath. If I need to move fast.. you guessed it- shower. It is all matter of preference.
when taking a bath, make sure you are bathing in a clean bath tub and with gentle body soap or oil.

I actually recently spoke with my doctor about this. She said that if you want to take a bath (for the relaxing effects), it's best to wash yourself in the shower first. Soaps, other products, dirt, and oil that are rinsed off in a bath are more likely to get into your vagina and cause infection than when rinsed off in the shower. There's actually a viral infection that you can get from soap and when you are pregnant it can cause premature contractions!

i'd think showers are better
clean water hits you...
in a bath you stay in the water and the dirt off your skin surrounds you.

baths are probably more relaxing, but showers seem to be more clean cuz you aren't bathing in your own filth
